The European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofound) is an EU agency based in Dublin, established in 1975. Its mission is to provide independent, evidence-based research and analysis to help shape better social, employment, and work-related policies across the EU. Working on a tripartite basis with input from governments, employers, and trade unions. Eurofound focuses on key areas like working conditions, industrial relations, labour market change, and quality of life. Eurofound’s portfolio includes its flagship surveys such as the European Working Conditions Survey (EWCS) and the European Quality of Life Survey (EQLS).
